“Ensuring supply and diversity”: Neo-liberalism in recent policy documents on curriculum development

In recent decades, there have been radical changes in the discourse on education. These changes have been global and the educational discourse in Iceland has not been spared. Changes in the field of educational materials for primary schools that can be linked to neoliberalism in international discourse will be examined here. The article gives examples of how such discourse appears in recent policy documents on curriculum development in Iceland.
